Minopex is a leading specialist in the field of outsourced operation and maintenance (O&M) of metal and mineral processing facilities.

Our business is growing, and we would like to grow our talent pool for our Core Team (Specialised Work and Training Team) that was established to assist Minopex clients and EPCM contractors with the commissioning phase of mineral processing facilities.

We are looking for suitably qualified candidates in the listed types of roles with strong commissioning experience.


PROCESS SUPERINTENDENTS with a relevant tertiary qualification or a National Certificate in Mineral Processing Level 2 (or an equivalent Minerals Processing qualification) will be advantageous) and a minimum of 8 years’ experience and knowledge of plant operations.

PROCESS SHIFT SUPERVISORS with Grade 12 and a National Certificate Mineral Processing Level 2 or equivalent Minerals Processing Qualification (advantageous) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Process Section Supervisor.

PROCESS SECTION SUPERVISORS with Grade 12 and a National Certificate Mineral Processing Level 2 or equivalent Minerals Processing Qualification (advantageous) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Section Supervisor.

CONTROL ROOM OPERATORS with Grade 12 and a National Certificate Mineral Processing Level 2 or equivalent Minerals Processing Qualification (advantageous) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Control Room Operator.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be mobile both nationally and internationally on single status
• Must be willing to work in remote locations in West and East Africa
• Valid passport and yellow fever certificate
• Medically fit
• Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to embrace new challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and engage with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a can-do mindset.
