Our business is growing, and we would like to grow our talent pool for our Core Team (Specialised Work and Training Team) that was established to assist Minopex clients and EPCM contractors with the commissioning phase of mineral processing facilities.

We are looking for suitably qualified candidates in the listed types of roles with strong commissioning experience.

SUBSTATION AND PORT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS OPERATOR National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree and over 8 years of experience in HV/MV electrical systems. expertise in integrating and operating control systems across both substation infrastructure and port electrical networks. Proficient in SCADA systems, protection relay configuration, and fault analysis, ensuring reliable and safe electrical system

PORT STACKER – RECLAIMER OPERATOR with a Grade 12 qualification and over 8 years of hands-on experience in operating reclaimers, stackers, and train loading systems. Demonstrated expertise in monitoring and managing bulk material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.

ORE WAGON DUMPER OPERATOR with Grade 12 and over 8 years proven experience operating car dumper systems. Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic troubleshooting. Monitor unloading processes and ensure proper alignment of wagons. Perform routine equipment checks and report faults or maintenance needs.

PORT SHIPLOADER OPERATOR with Grade 12 and over 8 years’ experience operating shiploaders or similar bulk handling equipment. Operate shiploading equipment to transfer bulk cargo (e.g., coal or iron ore,) onto vessels. Monitor loading rates and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal throughput. Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be mobile both nationally and internationally on single status
• Must be willing to work in remote locations in West and East Africa
• Valid passport and yellow fever certificate
• Medically fit
• Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to embrace new challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and engage with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a can-do mindset.
